Summer To-Do List

Who doesn’t love a juicy, summer day? Living in a city with a less than mild winter, bikini and ice cream season always seems to move a little quicker than I’d like. To make the most out of this summer, I made a bucket list inspired by the seasonal things I loved most as a kid (ice cream), and what I wished I’d be doing as an adult (skinny dipping!).

You can make this list any time of year, for however long a period as you’d like. The intention is to get curious, and brainstorm activities that bring you joy, then, schedule them into your life. We create our experiences through the actions we take, or don’t take. If you’re feeling “meh”, what a great opportunity to intentionally add in things that light you up. Let them be playful and thrilling... Maybe some will even scare you! Choose a reasonable amount of things to do - too little and it won’t feel like something special, too many and it gets overwhelming. I went with 11 for summer, but would aim for 5 if I were committing to just a month.

Whatever you choose, let the process feel good. Once you get started on your action list, you’ll realize this practice can be applied to different areas of your life. Below, I share my list as inspiration!
