2023 Summer To-Do List

The older I get, the more that time seems to slip away, which is why I started creating a summer to-do list. Each June I pick a vision for my summer. Last year I got inspired by what brought me joy during summers as a kid (ice cream), mixed in with having the money and autonomy of an adult (10 pm al fresco dinners out). This year I am reveling in a leisurely grandma summer, soaking in all of life’s simple pleasures.
By creating a list, and taking action to accomplish my goals, I fill my summer up with activities that bring me joy, which I wouldn’t have prioritized otherwise. You can make your own list by reflecting on your vision for the time frame (doesn’t have to be summer) and creating SMART goals that line up with your desires.
Below I share my 2023 list for your inspiration. I like keeping it to 11 items, as it’s the perfect number to fill your summer with fun while leaving space for spontaneity and other adventures.
