Low Vibe Days

Some days I jump out of bed feeling so excited, and others everyone and everything annoys me. While it’s totally normal to have some off days, I like to do my best to take care of myself when they do show up.

There’s a difference between consistent low vibe days (seek support if this is the case), and those days where nothing seems to go right and you just want to crawl back into bed for a re-do.

When I get a random bad day, I like to stick to my routine as much as possible, while having grace and patience for the energy I’m in. This looks like doing my workout but skipping my walk to sit outside with a blanket and herbal tea, or setting a timer for 25 minutes to work on a task that’s stressing me, but not doing any more work than necessary.

Instead of beating yourself up for the way you’re feeling, ask yourself in these moments how can you best take care of your current and future self?

After I’ve shifted into a mindset of forgiveness with my energy, I’ll make sure to go as slowly as possible, and check in with my thoughts. Often when low energy days arrive, my thoughts can be focused on the past or future, instead of being present in the now. I meditate everyday, but I’ll add in an extra meditation to focus on my body and the feelings that are present.
